Cosimo grew up in Rome, Italy. He studied natural sciences at the Maastricht Science Programme at Maastricht university where he finished in 2021. In September of the same year, he started a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht university where he is specializing in regenerative medicine.

Currently, he is working on his master’s thesis which is focused on the development of an adhesive 3D printed scaffold made of an interpenetrated network for the regeneration of cardiac tissue.
